App Media is part of 10X Media LTD. 10X Media operates several websites including www.appmedia.com.au, 10x.media and www.mobileappmarketing.com.au (collectively, the “Websites”). It is 10X Media’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our Websites and services
10X Media collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. 10X Media’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how 10X Media’s visitors use its Websites and Applications. From time to time, 10X Media may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its Websites or Applications.
10X Media also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. 10X Media does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.
Certain visitors to 10X Media’s Websites choose to interact with 10X Media in ways that require 10X Media to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that 10X Media gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for our newsletter at www.AppMedia.com.au to provide a name and email address. Those who engage in transactions with 10X Media and App Media – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, 10X Media collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with 10X Media. 10X Media does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related and service-related activities.
10X Media may collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its Websites and users of its services. 10X Media may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, 10X Media does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
10X Media discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that i) need to know that information in order to process it on 10X Media’s behalf or to provide services available at 10X Media’s Websites and Applications, and ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others.
Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using 10X Media’s Websites and services, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. 10X Media will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, 10X Media discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law, or when 10X Media believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of 10X Media, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of an 10X Media services and have supplied your email address, 10X Media may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with 10X Media and our products. We primarily use our various product blogs to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. 10X Media takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
IP addresses are used by your computer every time you are connected to the Internet. Your IP address is a number that is used by computers on the network to identify your computer. IP addresses are automatically collected by our web server as part of demographic and profile data known as traffic data so that data (such as the Web pages you request) can be sent to you.
We are not responsible for the practices employed by Web sites linked to or from our Web site or the information or content contained therein. Often links to other Web sites are provided solely as pointers to information on topics that may be useful to the users of our Web site.
We do not share, sell, lend or lease any of the information that uniquely identify a subscriber (such as email addresses or personal details) with anyone except to the extent it is necessary to process transactions or provide services to you that you have requested.
You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us at the usual address.
10X Media allows visitors to unsubscribe so that they will not receive future messages. After unsubscribing we will discontinue sending the particular messages as soon as technically feasible.
Minors are not eligible to use our services unsupervised and we ask that children (under the age of 18) do not submit any personal information to us. If you are a minor, you can use this service only in conjunction with permission and guidance from your parents or guardians.
In the event that the web site (or a substantial portion of its assets) is acquired, your information would be considered part of those assets, and may be part of those assets that are transferred.
